Terms of Use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These terms cover the Roohki website and family story service provided by SkyHi Agency Limited. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to buzz@skyhi.co.nz.
Family accounts
A parent or guardian must create and manage the family account and children's profiles. Keep passwords, invitation codes and recording links private. You are responsible for inviting the right people and selecting the audience for family recordings.
Your stories and recordings
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You give Roohki permission to store, process and share that content with your selected family audience so we can provide the service, including transcription and translation. Only upload content you have the right and permission to share, including permission from the people whose voices you record.
Respectful use
Do not use Roohki for unlawful activity, to infringe someone else's rights, to share abusive content, or to gain access to another family's account. We may restrict access where needed to protect users or the service.
Subscriptions
The available price, billing period and recording allowance are shown before purchase. Paid subscriptions may renew automatically under the terms shown by your payment provider. Manage cancellation and refund requests through the provider you used, such as Apple, Google Play or the web payment portal. Applicable consumer rights still apply.
For purchases through Apple, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Platform purchase terms may apply to Google Play purchases.
Transcription and availability
Automated transcriptions and translations can contain mistakes. Review them before relying on them. Features and availability can change, and we cannot promise uninterrupted access or permanent storage. Keep your own copies of irreplaceable recordings.
Leaving Roohki
For help with account deletion, removal of your family's data, or leaving the website email list, contact buzz@skyhi.co.nz. Deleting an account and cancelling a subscription are separate actions; check your payment provider to stop future renewals.
Changes and your rights
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
