Family relationship data: information about how family members are related, such as which grandparents are linked to which family.
Stories and audio recordings: voice recordings and associated metadata (title, language, audience settings) that family members choose to create and share.
Usage and device data: basic analytics used to improve the app, such as app version, device type, and how features are used.
Payment data: if you purchase a subscription, payment is processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services. Story recordings you request to delete are removed from our active systems. You may contact us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Roohki is designed for families. Children's profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. A parent or guardian can review, update, or delete their child's information at any time.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
